- The Member is responsible for supplying ArtFolio.ca with biographical, contact and other information as well as titles, medium, sizes and if applicable, prices of the art to be posted on the web site.
Scanning from photos, image manipulation, resizing and resaving of the images and/or text by ArtFolio.ca administration are subject to additional charges.
- ArtFolio.ca reserves the right not to display any or all of the contents on its website (images and text) in the Gallery, Biography, Contact and News and Info sections/pages which it considers to be inappropriate or morally objectionable.
- ArtFolio.ca will make every reasonable effort to ensure that the display-quality of the artworks is as high as possible. The Member is aware that there are limitations with computer display monitors as well as loss of image quality from the use of JPEG image compression.
- The Member grants ArtFolio.ca permission to post these digital reproductions for public viewing on the internet on its website.
The ArtFolio.ca web site contains links to other sites. ArtFolio.ca is not responsible to privacy practices or the content of such web sites.
Given the current regulatory and ethical environment, the Member should not have an expectation of privacy with ArtFolio.ca web site.
- ArtFolio.ca will display the artworks on the its website only with the permission of the Member. The copyright of the artwork belongs to the artist.
Any copyright or trademark symbol displayed by ArtFolio.ca relates only to the copyrighted material or trademarks belonging to ArtFolio.ca.
- ArtFolio.ca is not responsible for any outcome from transactions between the Member and the user of the ArtFolio.ca web site as a result of participating in ArtFolio.ca web hosting program, including sales, damage to the goods and any other dispute. Deals made between the Member and the user of the ArtFolio.ca web services are strictly their own.
- ArtFolio.ca will try to maintain a properly functioning web site at all times. However it does not guarantee that there will never be bugs, errors or problems or other limitations on its web site.
In no event shall ArtFolio.ca and its suppliers be liable for any loss of business or profit or damage (however rising, including negligence). ArtFolio.ca’s liability to the artist or any third party is limited to one year's hosting (membership) fee.
